Sea Shepherd Society Absent Once Again

The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society ( SSCS) is a self proclaimed non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. The majority of their conservation consists of posting on the Internet while totally ignoring marine mammals in actual trouble. This group runs a few ships and earned over 11 million in 2010. Money that’s gets donated to the SSCS is not going to the needed areas.

For whatever reasons, whales and dolphins routinely beach themselves. Always absent from these stranding are the SSCS. Their protection seems to end on the marine species they can fundraise from. There are several whale species in real trouble today. Some of these whale species are facing extinction. Never seen the Sea Shepherd Society say one word about them and never seen any of them try and help those species. Below is a few stranding from just the last few weeks.

“Whether they got lost, sick or swam astray chasing food, 77 dolphins that beached on Cape Cod in recent weeks have died, the second time in three months. New England has seen a mass of marine mammal deaths.”
“There has been a mass stranding of 20 sperm whales on Tasmania's west coast, with only four whales stuck in shallow water believed to still be alive.”

“It may never be known why a pod of pilot whales repeatedly re-stranded at Golden Bay this week, leading to the death of 82 of the mammals, a whale expert says.”

The Sea Shepherd Society has got to be the most dishonest and unethical environmental organization in our world today. Little of their claims are factual.

Japan Sets a New Record

In 2006 Japanese women set a new record for life expectancy at 85.81 years. There were 32,295 Japanese centenarians ( people over the age of 100 ) in 2007, according to the Japanese Health Ministry. The fact is, the Japanese have the longest life expectancy in the world. It must be all the mercury the Sea Shepherd Society are claiming the Japanese are eating.

Paul Watson of the Sea Shepherd Society, a very well known propagandist, claims otherwise. Well known for his hatred of the Japanese, Watson makes the claim that the Japanese are poisoning themselves with their diet. If that’s what it takes to live a long life, we should be putting mercury in our vitamin pills.
